Newly Arrived Youth Support Service

The Newly Arrived Youth Support Service (NAYSS) works with young people and their families, who are new to Australia, to manage conflict and provide support during settlement. The program can provide support to young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and assist with education and training.

The program is targeted at young people aged between 12 and 21 years, who are based in Auburn or Parramatta areas and have arrived in Australia less than 5 years ago.

The NAYSS project is a partnership between Auburn Youth Centre and Granville Multicultural Community Centre. This project is funded by the federal Department of Families, Community Services and Indigeneous Affairs, and is funded until June 2009.
