SUMMER SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM
This Summer we have 3 great excursions. Aquatopia, fun in the water & Sailing on Sydney Harbour. Both of these are only for young people. We also have a family excursion to Bobbin Heads for a BBQ and Bushwalking. We have some fantastic activities at the Centre including cooking, sport and arts and crafts. SPRING SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM
Free school holiday program for young people aged 12-21. Our school holiday program starts on the 25th September and finishes on the 6th October. Free dinner. People of all ages are welcome, come with friends, family or by yourself. Our key note Speaker is Clr Sabrin Farooqui, of Cumberland City Council, who
will talk to the theme of "overcoming fear and challenges". We will also do some fun activities to help you learn about this theme. Our food is Halal and we have vegan options available. There is a small play area for children. Please book as soon as possible.
WINTER SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM
FREE school holiday program for young people aged 12-21. Monday3rd July to Friday 14th July. Activities include excursions, movies, cooking, henna workshop, oztag and trivia.
JUNE DINNER EVENT – Celebrate, Create, Challenge a family dinner
Everyone is welcome. Come and enjoy a 3 Course Meal at AYC. The theme for the night is Self Care, how to look after yourself and your mind. We will also have some guest speaker from services in the area. It is a $2 booking fee but if you cant afford that please call us on 96462122.
AUTUM SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM
OUR AUTUMN SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM RUNS FROM 11th APRIL - 21st APRIL. REGISTRATIONS ARE TO BE MADE AT THE CENTRE BEFORE THURSDAY 6TH APRIL between 11am and 6pm. A $10 deposit will be required for Pizza Making, Bowling & Laser Tag, Bundeena Excursion. Deposit returned upon attendance.
LIFE SKILLS – cooking for beginners
Beginners cooking. This is a series of 4 workshops to teach young people the basics of making their own food and using kitchen appliances safely. Delivered by Chef Erny Lie you will learn how to make great sandwiches, pasta dishes and stir fries. 13th March, 20th, 27th & 3rd April.
Learn about healthy relationships, what they look like and what to do in a relationship. We will discuss consent, the new positive consent laws, the way partners might try to control each other and how to enjoy and be safe in a relationship. Program for 15+ A series of 5 workshops, 9th March, 16th, 23, 30th & 6th April.
Do you sometimes make bad choices? Would you like to learn how to make better choices? This series of 5 workshops will educate you on the things that influence decisions eg. peer pressure. How to make considered choices and the processes and theories of decision making. Great program for young people aged 14+
8th March, 15th, 22nd, 29th and 5th April
FUTSAL FRIDAY – EVERY FRIDAY
Futsal (indoor soccer) for all ages 12-24. Every Friday of school term. Open to people of all genders and skill levels.
FREE – MARCH MENTAL HEALTH DINNER
A free 3 course meal. A fun night that is educational and open to people of all ages. Activities and speakers will cover the topics of breaking down the stigma of mental health, connection to community and good mental health, finding service support.
